Trowers & Hamlins - Paul Mountain
Paul Mountain provided great support throughout the process of acquiring the Moor Pool community facilities. He has also provided practical support and guidance in initial meetings and discussions with the owner of the Royalty. Paul has extensive local contacts and practical experience being on the board of the Sidney Nolan Trust, an arts charity based in Herefordshire. Paul is also a past chair of Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, in which role he oversaw a successful Round 2 Heritage Lottery Fund bid for £5 million to purchase the Castle from Church Commissioners for England and redevelop it as a major cultural destination.
Since opening in July 2011, the firm's office in Birmingham have grown considerably in size and capacity. Greenwoods Projects - Chris Goucher
Greenwoods are another company who gave assistance during the process of acquiring the Moor Pool community facilities. Greenwoods have extensive experience of working with listed buildings and in particular cinema buildings like the Royalty. Projects include large mixed use developments, Residential projects, and Regeneration initiatives. Their education portfolio includes schools, student accommodation and laboratories. They have extensive experience in the sport and leisure sector including golf clubs, sports facilities, cinemas, hotels and theatres.
Greenwoods also have particular expertise in Conservation and Restoration projects and work extensively with community based clients, National Trust, Building Preservation Trusts, Ecclesiastical Organisations, and Housing Associations.
Since our approach to Greenwoods for some initial help with the Royalty, Chris has provided practical support and guidance in assessing issues with the building and discussions with our commercial partner.
