Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. Now would you like to join us and be part of a group of people working to save the Royalty cinema from demolition and bring this art deco building back into use, taking the place of the old Clock Tower building, ready to serve the people of Harborne and further afield? There are several benefits of membership:
 
 
              Receipt of the Annual Report and Accounts
 
              Voting rights in Trust elections
 
              Voting on Royalty conservation and management issues through the Annual General Meeting
 
 
AIMS
 
           To work to ensure the preservation of The Royalty in Harborne, a Grade II listed building of historical importance and to ensure its ongoing conservation and care for public use.
 
           To ensure the advancement of community development by providing a multi-use community building, ensuring urban regeneration and provision of social and community infrastructure for the general public.
 
           To ensure the advancement of the arts, culture and heritage by ensuring the provision of mixed use performance, exhibition, entertainment and community space for the benefit of the general public and local community.
 
           To ensure the advancement of the arts, culture and heritage by protecting the unique art deco features of the building, its influence on early cinema design.
 
           To undertake any other activities that shall further the attainment of the objectives to ensure the preservation, understanding and continued use of the building for the benefit of the public, as decided by The Trustees.

Funds raised through membership will be used to finance technical services such as valuations, surveys, legal advice and costs, promotion and administration. The Trust will also continue to seek funding support from grant organisations, sponsors and donors.
 
Committee Members are volunteers and receive no remuneration or financial benefit from the Trust
 
In the event of the Trust ceasing any surplus funds will be donated to local not for profit causes with similar ideals
 
 
Membership is open to individuals over the age of 16 who support the Aims of The Trust and who:

 
(a)        apply to the Harborne Royalty Trust in the form required by the Committee Members; and
 
(b)        are approved by the Committee Members.
 
(c)        pay the joining subscription of £10.
 

Your Data
 
Harborne Royalty Trust undertake to:
 
·         only process information necessary to establish or maintain membership or support;
 
·         only process information necessary to provide or administer activities for people who are members of the organisation or have regular contact with it;
 
·         only share the information with people and organisations necessary to carry out the organisation’s activities; and
 only keep the information while the individual is a member or supporter or as long as necessary for member/supporter administration.
